The Pius XII Museum is a museum dedicated to Sacred Art and Archeology and is located together with the Medina Museum, in the building of the Conciliar Seminary of Santiago in the city of Braga, northern Portugal.

This Museum displays one of the most important collections of archeology and sacred art in Northern Portugal.

Fine arts also have a special place here with a gallery dedicated to the painter Henrique Medina, and a medieval tower with a late-baroque oratory.

The Pio XII museum, founded in 1957 by Cónego Luciano Afonso dos Santos, is the result of the founder's efforts in researching Sacred Art and Archeology that he developed in Minho, especially in Braga.

The museum has undergone several changes over the years.

Between 2000 and 2002, the museum, with support from the European Union, was completely renovated.

Currently, the museum's collection is divided into seven parts: Collection, Biography of Canon Luciano Afonso dos Santos: pays homage to Canon Luciano, displaying several books and documents edited by him, the medals from the decorations he received throughout his life and his greatest archaeological discoveries, a Roman mosaic and a dolio (large Roman vase).

The History of the Pius XII Museum tells, through photographs, documents and plans, the evolution of the museum over the years.

The Imaginary and Painting section displays several statues and paintings related to Sacred Art.

In this space there are several pieces such as sarcophagi, gargoyles, crosses, among others.

All the pieces on display were discovered by Canon Luciano and display articles linked to religious devotion, clothing, goldsmithing, ceramics and numismatics.

The Chapel of Our Lady of the Tower and Tower of São Tiago: displays religious articles, coins, vases, jewelry, chalices, among others.

A section dedicated to temporary exhibitions, other collections that the museum has are normally displayed.

Torre de São Tiago and Nossa Senhora da Torre: a medieval tower and a chapel built on one side of the tower, are part of the Pius XII Museum, over five floors the history of Braga is documented, on the top floor you can enjoy an excellent panoramic view over the city.
